ABOUT ME
VICTO, experienced artist
Based in NYC, USA
Born 1990
VICTO (Viktoriia Isaeva) is a self-taught artist who has been passionate about creativity from a young age, building a successful career through perseverance and dedication to her craft. Her work focuses on exploring ethics and aesthetics, as well as rethinking the perception of everyday objects. She strives to reveal beauty in everything, inspired by David Hume's philosophy that beauty is a product of human consciousness. Viktoriia believes in the importance of breaking free from imposed models of perception to live life in its full harmony. Her work, deeply rooted in minimalism and critical posthumanism, highlights even the smallest details of the world.
Since 2021, Viktoriia has been actively participating in exhibitions and art fairs. She took part in Art Miami in 2022 and 2024, marking significant milestones in her career. In 2024, Viktoriia also participated in a three-week museum project, Woman: Balancing Our World, at the MoRA Museum in New Jersey.
Traveling has had a profound influence on her creativity. Having lived in various places, Viktoriia has developed a deep affection for London and the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland. Currently residing in New York, she works actively and manages her own art gallery, Artseeker Gallery. Additionally, she is featured on prominent platforms such as Artsy, Artsper, Artfinder, Saatchi Art, and others.
Viktoriia firmly believes that anyone can become anything, and to reinforce this belief, she plans to publish a book on the topic in 2025. Her work extends beyond art itself to include educational projects: in 2022, she launched an online course for artists called Art & Work, helping many creators merge their artistry with professional endeavors.
From 2020 to 2022, Viktoriia served as a curator at the international school Era Art Studio, which educated artists from around the globe. Since 2024, she has been the curator of the international school Sasha Robinson, actively supporting the development of artists on a global scale.
In the next three years, Viktoriia plans to participate in prestigious art fairs such as Armory Show, NADA, and Untitled, continuing to grow her career and share her vision with a wider audience
