Animal Logic. 2022–Present

This ongoing collection of animal portraits was born from a playful impulse — to portray not just animals, but their quirks, moods, and moments of unexpected drama or humor. Since 2022, I’ve been painting cats, dogs, and other creatures — from alpacas to foxes — often placing them into unexpected or absurd visual situations that nudge viewers to smile, relate, or even look twice.

Each work plays with contrasts — bright color against soft fur, classical technique against bold irreverence — but always with affection. These animals are not decorative; they’re personalities. They’re caught in the middle of their own scenes, uninhibited, vulnerable, or gloriously strange.

While some pieces reference art history or internet memes, others come straight from a deep love for the expressive power of animals as characters — not symbols, but real presences. This series continues to grow with new additions regularly, each canvas inviting a little mischief, a little empathy, and a lot of joy.
